About the role
Join our Health Services team and play a key role in protecting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of our community. As an Environmental Health Officer, you will contribute to ensuring positive environmental health outcomes for the community and meeting the City’s statutory compliance obligations under relevant legislation.
The Health Services Team conducts inspections, investigates customer complaints, implements enforcement actions, undertakes sampling, assesses applications, and issues statutory approvals. Team members also provide specialist advice and education to customers, internal business units, and external agencies. Environmental Health Officers play a key operational role in delivering these functions and supporting the objectives of the Health Services Team.
This position is offered on a fixed term full time basis (76 hours per fortnight) until 31 December 2027. Part-time or job-share arrangements may be considered for the successful applicant.

The salary for this position will be from $97,690.06 - $116,436.70 per annum/pro rata, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
