About The Role

Join our Canberra or Melbourne CBD team as a Secure Transcriber. You’ll produce accurate transcripts from sensitive recordings, supporting justice and public safety. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday.

Transcribers are responsible for the accurate and timely production of transcript in various styles and formats, utilizing a variety of audio types and production and research tools. Transcripts must be produced in accordance with contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.

About You

You probably love to read. You have a commendable vocabulary and wouldn’t mind embellishing it with some niche legal terminology. You type with ease, and with excellent spelling and grammar.   

What We Are Looking For

• Full time, on-site availability in the Melbourne CBD or Canberra CBD, Monday – Friday.

• 70+ wpm typing speed with strong accuracy

• Excellent English vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension

• Proficiency in MS Word and computer literacy

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency

• Willingness to complete a Baseline security clearance (funded by Epiq)

• Willingness to complete psychometric testing (funded by Epiq) - this is not required until after an offer has been made and does not impact your applications success.

• Administration, data-entry, legal, editing, typist, or secure experience desirable.

• Prior transcription experience is an advantage but not essential — our training program is designed to set you up for success.
