Site Supervisor — Road Safety Barriers & Road Furniture

22 Vision supplies and installs road safety barriers and road furniture across South East Queensland, working directly with councils, civil contractors and developers. We're a hands-on team who take pride in doing the job properly the first time. We're growing, and we're building the systems and structure to support that growth — this role is a key part of it.

We're after a Site Supervisor to run our onsite crews. This is not a desk job. You'll be out on site with the team, leading from the front and getting your hands dirty when the job calls for it.

The way you communicate matters as much as what you know. We want someone who sets the tone on site — clear instructions, straight answers, and the sort of positive attitude that lifts a crew rather than grinds it down

You'll report directly to our Works Coordinator. Our Crew Leader and installation staff report to you. Day to day, you'll be the link between the office and the field — making sure crews have what they need, jobs run to program, and the work meets spec.

• Supervising installation crews on site across SEQ, working alongside them as a hands-on leader

• Managing and developing the Crew Leader and installation staff

• Working with the Works Coordinator on scheduling and forward planning, making sure crews, plant, materials and site requirements are lined up before work starts

• Solving problems on the ground — access issues, design conflicts, plant breakdowns, logistics and weather

• Reworking the day when crew availability changes — absences, early finishes, jobs running long — so the program still gets met

• Maintaining safety and quality standards on every job

• Running toolbox talks and keeping the crew clear on what's expected each day

• Liaising with client site personnel, council supervisors and contractor project teams — you're the face of 22 Vision on site

• MR truck licence (essential)

• Proven civil construction experience

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with field crews

• Strong, positive communication skills — you keep the crew informed, give clear direction, listen properly, and handle a tough conversation with a client or a staff member without it turning sour

• Strong organisational skills — you can plan ahead, keep crews, materials and plant coordinated, stay on top of multiple jobs, and quickly reorganise when the plan changes

• Strong mechanical aptitude — you understand plant, equipment and how things go together

• Sound problem solving skills and the confidence to make a call on site

• White Card and current construction inductions

• Willingness to travel occasionally for regional work (we generally service SEQ, with the odd job further afield)

You don't need barrier or road furniture experience — all technical training will be provided. We're hiring on attitude, leadership and the way you deal with people.

• $100,000+ base salary, negotiated on experience
