Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Migration Agent based in Southport, QLD. The role involves providing accurate migration advice, assessing client eligibility, and preparing and lodging visa applications in accordance with current legislation and Department of Home Affairs policies. The Registered Migration Agent will conduct detailed consultations, gather and verify documentation, maintain clear records, and manage application timelines. They will communicate regularly with clients regarding case progress, respond to queries, and help manage expectations throughout the migration process. The role also includes staying up to date with regulatory changes, collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex cases, and contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and client service standards and managing compliace.
Qualifications and Experience Current registration as a Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) and strong knowledge of Australian migration law and policy.Minimum two years of experience, managing employer sponsored visas, GSM, family visas.Proven ability to conduct thorough client assessments, prepare accurate documentation, and manage multiple cases with attention to detail and compliance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with diverse clients.Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to work to deadlines and maintain high professional standards in a busy office environment.Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and non-discriminatory service to clients from varied cultural and social backgrounds.Comfort with using case management systems, online application portals, and standard office software; ability to adapt to new tools and processes.Experience in a migration agency or legal practice, and proficiency in additional languages, are beneficial but not essential
