Electrical Design Engineer - Solar and BESS

Take utility scale solar and BESS design from concept through to ready for construction. Not one slice of it.

Permanent, full time, hybrid. Sydney based preferably but open to remote working on the East Coast.

This role exists because the business is growing its utility scale work and bringing HV engineering in-house rather than outsourcing it. You will help decide what that capability looks like.

What you will do

• Own project scope, budget and the client relationship on your projects
• Deliver solar and BESS design to Australian Standards, constructible and signed off
• Direct engineers and drafters to hit deliverables
• Manage outsourced HV consultants, then bring that skill set in-house
• Mentor junior engineers and lift the technical standard of the team

What you need

• Degree qualified electrical engineer
• Solar and BESS design delivery experience
• Design to Australian Standards, constructible output
• Full Australian working rights
• Interest in developing HV capability
