We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 2IC / Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Clarks Northland.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves retail, enjoys working with customers, and is ready to take on additional responsibility while supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.

As our 2IC, you’ll play an important role in driving sales, supporting the team, maintaining high store standards, and helping create an exceptional experience for every customer.

About the Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering exceptional customer service and confidently recommending products to suit customer needs

*Driving individual and store sales targets and KPIs
*Supporting the Store Manager with daily store operations
*Leading and motivating the team when the Store Manager is not present
*Assisting with visual merchandising and maintaining premium store presentation
*Supporting stock management, replenishment and operational tasks
*Helping coach team members to improve their sales and product knowledge
*Building strong customer relationships and supporting our customer loyalty initiatives
*Opening and closing the store when required
*Contributing to a positive, accountable and results-driven team culture

ROSTER:

*Monday 9am-5pm 

Thursday 9am-2pm

*Friday  12-4pm 

*Sunday 10am-5pm 

total hrs 22 hours per week (not limited to, can increase during peak trade) 

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

*Has previous retail or customer service experience
*Is confident, energetic and passionate about sales
*Enjoys working towards targets and KPIs
*Has strong communication and customer service skills
*Is reliable, organised and able to take initiative
*Can confidently lead and support a team

Has a genuine interest in footwear, fashion and delivering a premium customer experience
Is available across a flexible retail roster, including weekends and peak trading periods
Previous leadership, keyholder or 2IC experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to strong retail salespeople who are ready to take the next step into leadership.
