What You’ll Do

·         Handle bank reconciliations and prepare account summary reports – multiple accounts/entities

·         Proven capability in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and accurate credit card reconciliation processes

·         Prepare monthly Instalment Activity Statements & Business Activity Statements for ATO

·         Assist with year‑end workpapers

·         Contribute to financial reporting

·         Complete month‑end journals

·         Assist with payroll processing and reviews – multiple entities

·         End to End payroll processing experience in Xero – multiple entities

·         Superannuation processing, including clearing house experience – multiple entities

·         Reporting and chasing customers for payments

·         Assisting the accountant where required

·         Ability to work unsupervised

What You Bring

• 5+ years' experience in a bookkeeping & Payroll or similar accounting support role

• Multi-entity payroll processing experience is essential for this position

• 5+ years of experience in payroll software such as Tanda, Employment Hero, Deputy

• A positive, solutions‑focused, and adaptable mindset

• Strong communication skills — written and verbal

• Ability to work well both independently and within a team

• A passion for learning new systems and expanding your skills

• Strong time‑management under pressure and tight deadlines

• Full Australian working rights must have

• A strong understanding of Xero accounting software

• Advanced user proficiency in Xero is required for this role
