About the Role
We're searching for a highly driven, energetic and very experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our on-site workshop in Meadowbrook. You'll be servicing trucks and trailers for our growing fleet, with a strong focus on trailer fault diagnosis — brakes, suspension, and electrical/ABS systems. This is a hands-on role that demands a mature mindset, technical competence, and strong organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own job schedule and keep the workshop running smoothly

• Report progress on each job and promptly communicate any delays or concerns

• Work unsupervised on jobs in line with the workshop schedule

• Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnostics on heavy vehicles and trailers

• Promote and uphold a strong Health & Safety culture within the business

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) — mandatory

• Several years' proven experience across a wide range of heavy vehicles and trailers, including fault diagnosis

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service

• Current HR driver's licence

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a busy workshop
