Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic

TRUCK TECH is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Dandenong South afternoon shift.

If you're a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Diesel Technician or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who knows their way around heavy vehicles and wants to be rewarded for their experience, this could be your next move.

You'll work across trucks, trailers and buses, with plenty of variety across servicing, repairs, diagnostics and fault finding.

The work

You'll be getting hands-on with:

• Heavy vehicle servicing and maintenance

• Mechanical repairs

• Diagnostics and fault finding

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

• Preventative maintenance

• Trucks, trailers and buses

• Keeping customer fleets safe, compliant and on the road

Who we're looking for

Whether your current title is Heavy Vehicle Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Truck Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic or Senior Heavy Vehicle Technician, we're interested in your experience — not just your job title.

You'll ideally have:

• Cert 3 in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology – Essential

• Experience working on trucks, trailers, buses or heavy vehicles

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• Australian driver's licence

• Full Australian working rights

• A solid attitude and pride in your workmanship
