Mechanical Fitter

KAEFER Integrated Services is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our dedicated Maintenance team at Goonyella Riverside Coal Mine, on a 4/3 lifestyle roster, supporting the reliability and performance of the CHPP fixed plant. 

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the reliability and performance of our operations while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fault finding, diagnostics and mechanical repairs

• Component change-outs and mechanical installations

• Preventative maintenance inspections and servicing

• Read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation

• Complete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessments

• Work safely within site procedures and Australian Standards

ABOUT YOU

• Current Driver’s License

• Proof of right to work in Australia

• Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter or Equivalent

• OHS / Construction Card

• Working at Heights (within 2 years)

• Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)

• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
