About the Role

This is a hands-on tradesman role running your own jobs in the field, working alongside and mentoring an apprentice. You’ll be trusted to manage your day, deliver great outcomes for customers, and represent Ready Set Plumb with professionalism and pride.

What You'll Be Doing

• Running plumbing jobs independently in the field

• Working with and mentoring an apprentice

• General plumbing maintenance and repairs

• Hot water system installation, repair and servicing

• Gas fitting work

• Blocked Drains

• Strata work

• Drain diagnostics and repairs

• Quoting jobs on-site and winning work through great customer service

• Building strong relationships with our customers

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as a licensed plumber

• Current NSW plumbing licence

• Solid all-round knowledge across general plumbing, hot water, gas and drains

• Confidence quoting jobs and closing work directly with customers

• A team player who’s also comfortable working autonomously

• Great communication skills and a genuine care for customer service

• A reliable, “doer” attitude — someone who gets stuck in and gets the job done

• A current driver’s licence

• $95,000 – $110,000 + Super + Commission, based on experience
