About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring inventory availability and supply continuity across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing inventory replenishment and supply planning activities
Coordinating purchasing from local and international suppliers
Monitoring and maintaining open purchase orders
Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective supply outcomes
Supporting international freight and import activities
Identifying supply risks and proactively implementing solutions
Developing supplier performance reporting and maintaining strong supplier partnerships
Sourcing products through Twin Disc's global distribution network
Supporting budgeting and cost control initiatives
Driving continuous improvement projects across supply chain processes
Collaborating with Sales, Service, Parts, Administration, and Management teams to meet customer demand
Supporting the development of team capability and operational excellence
Maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Minimum 3 years' experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, inventory, or logistics coordination
Strong inventory planning and purchasing knowledge
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Highly organised with exceptional planning skills
A proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset
Desirable:
Qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline
Experience working with ERP systems such as Momentum Pro or similar
Exposure to international suppliers and import processes
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, automotive, or related sectors
Understanding of quality management systems and process improvement methodologies
