Galex Group is an established Australian aluminium window and glazing installation company with over 10 years of industry experience.

We deliver aluminium window, door and glazing packages across major residential and commercial construction projects, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and reliable project delivery.

Due to continued growth across Brisbane, we are seeking an experienced Window Installer / Glazier to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position is suited to an experienced installer who can work confidently as part of an installation team and carry out window and glazing works to a high standard.

You will be working across multiple construction projects throughout Brisbane.

• Installation of aluminium windows and doors

• Installation of commercial and residential glazing systems

• Installation and adjustment of aluminium frames

• Installation of subframes, subheads, subsills and associated components

• Installation of glass and glazing panels

• Window and door hardware installation and adjustment

• Measuring, setting out and checking installation locations

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and shop drawings

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Carrying out installation adjustments and final fit-off

• Identifying and rectifying installation issues

• Completing works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications

• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation

• Following site safety procedures and company requirements

• Working with supervisors, project managers and other trades on site

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in aluminium window and/or glazing installation

• Demonstrated experience installing aluminium windows and doors

• Good understanding of window and glazing installation practices

• Ability to read and understand construction and shop drawings

• Experience using construction hand and power tools

• Good attention to detail and workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong understanding of construction site safety

• White Card

• Valid Australian driver's licence

• Reliable transport

• Full Australian working rights

• Formal glazing qualification or trade qualification in glazing

• Experience working on multi-residential apartment or commercial construction projects

• Experience with curtain wall systems

• Experience installing subframes and commercial glazing systems

• Experience with large glazing panels and façade installation

A glazing qualification will be highly regarded but is not a mandatory requirement for the position.

• $85,000 – $110,000 package per year, depending on experience
