Fabricator / Welder

About the role

As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fabricating and assembling steel components, and performing high-quality welding to meet customer specifications. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team in a well-equipped workshop.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel and metal components.

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to a high standard.

• Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, press brakes, drills, milling machine & lathes.

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Assist with on-site installation work when required.

About you

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Fabricator.

• Proven welding and fabrication experience.

• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Current driver's licence.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Forklift, confined space or Working at Heights tickets are advantageous but not essential.
