Peace Kindergarten Cairns is seeking a passionate Certificate III or Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position of up to 37.5 hours per week.

Located in a beautiful, purpose-built Kindergarten featuring three modern learning rooms and lush tropical outdoor spaces, Peace Kindergarten Cairns is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, inclusive and community-focused environment. 👩‍🏫 About the Role

As a Qualified Educator, you will:

• Supervise and engage children in stimulating indoor and outdoor learning experiences

• Support Early Childhood Teachers and Inclusion Support (above ratio)

• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment

• Assist in delivering programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework

• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented environment

• Hold current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law

✅ About You

You will have:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Kindergarten experience (preferred)

• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)

• A current Blue Card, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development

• A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service

• Food handling experience (desirable but not essential)
