Belong at Home (CHC) is seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Part-Time Garden Maintenance Worker to join our team in Collie.

This rewarding role provides essential gardening and property maintenance services to support older members of our community to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Working approximately 2–3 days per week, you will provide quality garden maintenance services for our clients, ensuring their outdoor areas are safe, well-maintained, and accessible. Your duties will include:

• Lawn mowing and edging,pruning
• Whipper snipping
• General garden care and maintenance
• Operating, cleaning, and maintaining gardening equipment and tools to ensure safe and effective use
• Identifying and reporting any equipment issues or maintenance requirements
• Ensuring work areas are left clean, tidy, and safe for clients

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, or property maintenance
• Experience operating and maintaining gardening equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers, and other outdoor power tools.
• A commitment to safe work practices and taking care of equipment and resources.
• A strong understanding of equipment care, including completing routine checks, cleaning, safe operation, and reporting any faults or maintenance requirements.
• The ability to follow organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure quality service delivery and compliance requirements are met.
• A reliable vehicle with a tow ball
• A current National Police Clearance
• A current First Aid Certificate
• An up-to-date influenza vaccination (in accordance with aged care requirements)
• A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to support members of your local community
