MANAGER BUSINESS ADVISORY - PHARMACY CLIENTS - BRISBANE CBD - MID-TIER ADVISORY FIRM (JOB ID 1169)

Looking to specialise in a niche client base while accelerating your progression toward Director/Partner?
Our client is a nationally recognised professional services and advisory firm based in Brisbane CBD, offering the opportunity to join a highly regarded mid-tier practice within its established Private Business & Family Advisory division. Specialising in a dedicated pharmacy client portfolio, this role offers direct exposure to a niche and commercially significant sector, where you’ll work closely with Directors and Partners, manage a diverse client base, mentor emerging team members, and deliver high-quality advisory, compliance and business services.
The Role:
Manage and deliver complex accounting and taxation engagements
Act as a key point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
Lead, mentor and develop a team of accountants
Provide commercial and strategic advice to pharmacy clients
Review financial statements, tax returns and consolidated reports
Drive workflow, manage deadlines and ensure quality delivery across engagements
About You:
An experienced Manager (or strong Senior ready to step up) who enjoys balancing client work with team leadership
Strong technical accounting and tax expertise (private clients focus)
Experience managing and mentoring teams
Ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with MYOB, Xero and ideally exposure to larger systems
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Exposure to tax consolidation will be highly regarded but not essential
