As a member of Frontline Operations, you’ll lead and support the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring the integrity of Australia’s tax and superannuation systems.
As a Business Analyst in our Frontline Business Improvement, Frontline Risk and Strategy and Frontline Resource Management business areas, you will apply your technical expertise and business knowledge to engage stakeholders, gather and analyse requirements, and support the design and implementation of business solutions that align with business objectives.
You will translate information and data from a range of sources into meaningful insights, recommendations and practical outcomes. You will contribute to the assessment and validation of solutions, identify risks and impacts, and communicate findings to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Our Frontline Operations group has a variety of roles available, including:
Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape solutions that deliver better outcomes. You will gather and analyse information from a range of sources, translate complex requirements into clear and meaningful documentation, and support informed decision-making. Working collaboratively across teams, you will use your analytical skills to identify challenges, evaluate options and contribute to the successful delivery of business and technology solutions.
Business Intelligence Analyst
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will analyse and interpret complex data to provide insights that support business decision-making and continuous improvement. You will work with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and translate data into meaningful information through reports, dashboards and recommendations. Using your analytical expertise, you will help inform strategy, improve business performance and support the delivery of data-driven outcomes across the organisation.
Duties for the above roles may include:
• working collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities, and translating these into actionable outcomes
• gathering, analysing and interpreting information from a range of sources to identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities for business improvement
• eliciting, documenting and validating business requirements, processes, user journeys and solution designs to support informed decision-making
• developing, maintaining and enhancing reports, insights, dashboards, business documentation and other artefacts to support operational and strategic outcomes
• providing specialised advice, recommendations and analytical insights to stakeholders on complex business matters
• contributing to the design, implementation and evaluation of business processes, systems and solutions that support organisational objectives
• maintaining accurate, complete and contemporaneous records, documentation and data in accordance with legislative, policy and operational requirements
• supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes, intelligence products, reporting capabilities and service delivery outcomes
