The Langham, Sydney is looking for a dedicated Full-time Night Porter. 

 

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Concierge and Night Manager you will be responsible for:

• Handling Guest requests and enquiries adhering to the Standards and procedures. Valet requests including organizing taxi, parking and any reasonable requests
• Assist in all Front Office duties including telephones, reservation enquiries, wake-up calls, check-ins and check-outs adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure
• Meeting and greeting guests
• Handling and storing guest luggage
• Maintaining of the Concierge float
• Preparation and servicing of Room Service Orders.
• Ensuring the lobby and public areas are clean and tidy
• Monitor Hotel Security
• Receiving and storing of daily deliveries
• Delivery of newspapers to guest rooms

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experiences:

• Ability to work over night shift
• Available to work on the weekends 
• Excellent standard of personal presentation
• Basic computer and telephone skills
• Previous experience in a similar role in five-star hotel highly regarded
• Outstanding customer service
• Full NSW Drivers Licence
