You're mechanically minded and comfortable working with equipment — you notice when something isn't running right, can troubleshoot on the spot, and take care of your gear so it performs at its best.

You are confident leading a small team on-site, setting clear expectations with clients before you start and communicating professionally throughout. You are honest, punctual and hardworking, with a strong willingness to learn both practical and technical understanding of the cleaning industry.

You take initiative, solve problems on the spot, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team that supports each other to get the job done right.

THE BUSINESS & ROLE:
Diamond Carpet Cleaning is a trusted, family-owned carpet and upholstery cleaning business serving Rockhampton and surrounding areas. We're known for the quality of our cleans and the exceptional client experience we provide — our goal is 750 raving fan clients in 2026, and every member of our team plays a part in getting us there.

As the Technician – Team Leader, your role will involve but not be limited to:

1. Leading a small team on off-site cleaning jobs and delivering results to a high quality standard

2. Working by your self from time to time.

3. Assisting the Operations Manager with day-to-day operations

4. Setting clear expectations of the clean with clients on-site, or via phone, email or text with clients who aren't present

5. Following our Moments of Truth process on every job

6. Completing 100% of cleaning steps, checklists, WHS and paperwork accurately and on time without direction

7. Working efficiently to achieve hourly production targets, individually and as a team

8. Operating, caring for and carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting on our cleaning equipment and vehicles to keep jobs running smoothly

9. Converting completed audits into booked cleans

10. Contributing to our goal of 750 raving fan clients in 2026
