The Opportunity:

From intimate celebrations to large-scale conferences, Crystalbrook Collection brings memorable events to life across our Cairns properties - Crystalbrook Riley, Crystalbrook Bailey and Crystalbrook Flynn.

As our Conferencing & Events Executive, you will be behind the moments that make an event feel effortless. You will be the key connection between our clients and property teams, translating each event brief into clear actions and guiding every detail from planning through to delivery and final follow-up.

On any given day, you may be welcoming a client for a site inspection, coordinating accommodation and group arrivals, or leading an event briefing with our chefs, venue leaders and operational teams. You will keep timelines, deposits, event information and accounts on track, then reconnect with clients afterwards to gather feedback and ensure every event is even better than the last.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cairns, with some flexibility required to support client meetings and events outside standard business hours.

You are someone who notices the details, keeps people connected and remains calm and solutions-focused when plans evolve. You build trusted relationships, communicate with confidence and take genuine pride in creating experiences that feel effortless for your clients and guests.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in conference and events, event coordination, hotel operations or a related environment
• Experience supporting group events, ideally including accommodation requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
• Warm, polished and confident communication with clients and stakeholders
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
• The ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with event or sales systems such as iVvy or similar - desirable, but not essential
• Valid Australian working rights
