Textile Labourer - Production

We are a specialist rope manufacturing company with over 20 years of operation in Australia, recently acquired by Hampidjan. We service leading customers across Australasia and worldwide, supplying both standard and highly customised rope products.

Our products support a wide range of industries including Yachting, Super Yachts, Sailmaking, Pearl & Fish Farming, Mining, Pet, and Gym industries, to name just a few. We are recognised globally for our exceptional quality, innovation, and service, and we pride ourselves on developing unique solutions to real customer challenges.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Production Team. This is a hands-on role with full training provided and genuine opportunities to grow as your skills and knowledge develop.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating machinery and loading braiding machines

• Learning to wind and twist yarns

• Yarn loading and general yarn maintenance

• Assisting in the dispatch area when required

• Ongoing training and skill development across production processes

While the role may appear simple at first glance, it requires a sharp mind, initiative, and attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and ready to grow with the business.

This position would suit a dedicated, fit, and proactive person looking for a long-term direction in a specialised manufacturing environment. You won’t be spoon-fed — independence and drive are essential.

Please note: the role is based in a noisy production environment, with appropriate breaks away from machinery.

We are currently located at 5/14 Technology Drive, Arundel, 4214 Gold Coast. We going to be upgrading to a larger factory in Yatala in November/December this year, so please consider this for your daily commutes.
