About the opportunity
Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg is seeking passionate Midwives to join our supportive Maternity team. We have Permanent Part-time opportunities in specialty areas

We provide a friendly, collaborative culture where you can build you midwifery experience working across the spectrum of maternity care.

Our specialist units include Postnatal / Antenatal wards, Birth Suites, Fetal Monitoring Unit and Emergency Department, Gynaecology/ Oncology Ward, Special Care Nursery and Domiciliary / Hospital in the Home. You will join a multidisciplinary team providing best practice patient care as a as a permanent staff member.Flexible rostering working in speciality unitsPlay an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a strong family centred care approachProviding high quality care for women and their babiesOpportunities for professional development to enhance midwifery expertise.What you'll bring
You're resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

To thrive in this role, you will have:Registration as a Midwife with AHPRAA minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Midwife in an Australian hospital settingPassionate about woman-centred care and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?
