We are seeking a dedicated Staff Development Nurse (SDN) to lead education, training, and professional development initiatives in across our Day Procedure Unit and Pre Admission Clinic. The SDN will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
The successful applicant/(s) shall be responsible for education and training in relation to clinical practices and as part of the multidisciplinary team plans, implements and evaluates orientation, education and training at the ward or unit level. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care and works collaboratively to ensure service is delivered in accordance with health service policy and standards. The Staff Development Nurse/Midwife practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
