About the Role

Le Pub & Bottle Shop, in the heart of the CBD, is offering an exciting opportunity for a casual chef who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll have input into seasonal menu design and the chance to develop your career across our venues.

You’ll Be Someone Who:

• Has a strong appreciation and sound knowledge of food

• Wants to grow, learn, and challenge yourself in a professional, established kitchen

• Communicates clearly and builds great relationships with your team

• Brings a courteous, positive, and proactive attitude

• Has experience working as a qualified chef or cook in a high-pressure kitchen

• Possesses excellent pan skills, solid sauce knowledge, and creative flair

• Is keen to contribute to menu development, including daily specials

• Understands stock control, ordering, and rotation procedures

• Maintains the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and organisation

Key Selection Criteria

• Minimum 2 years’ full-time experience in a similar role

• Cert IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)

• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Full Australian work rights
