The Finance function plays a key role in supporting business performance, with a clear focus on delivering accurate financial information, achieving key deadlines and supporting better business decisions. 

Reporting directly to the General Manager – Finance, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Finance function, ensuring month-end reporting, compliance, financial controls and key deliverables are completed accurately and on time, while taking ownership of accrued revenue, balance sheet reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasting. 

What You’ll Do 

• Own the month-end close process across multiple entities, ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved. 
• Coordinate all compliance obligations, including BAS, payroll tax, FBT and year-end audit requirements, ensuring they’re completed accurately and on time by our outsourced accounting partner. 
• Manage accrued revenue and revenue recognition. 
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and support budgeting and forecasting. 
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial information. 
• Monitor business performance and identify financial risks and opportunities  
• Continuously improve reporting and financial processes. 
• Coordinate our outsourced accounting partner, ensuring compliance, reporting and operational deliverables are completed accurately and on time. 

You’ll Be Successful If You Have 

• Around 3 to 5 years’ accounting experience.  
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion. 
• Strong month end reporting experience.  
• A solid understanding of accounting principles.  
• Excellent Excel skills.  
• A naturally organised approach.  
• Strong attention to detail.  
• Experience using Xero or similar accounting software is highly regarded.
