General Practitioner: Port Hedland

THE MEDICAL CENTRE
Newly fitted-out family medical practice based in a poular and busy  shopping centre with high foot traffic
Opening hours are 8 am - 5.00 pm week days
Patient & staff parking is available on site
You'll be supported with full nursing coverage
Allied Health support is available and visiting specialists
Occupational Health, Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women's health, and chronic disease management GP sub-specialties are in demand


DUTIES
Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues

PORT HEDLAND
Port Hedland is a dynamic town in Western Australia's beautiful North West located approximately 1,800km north of Perth. The town is home to around 16,000 people from diverse cultural backgrounds and covers 11,844 square kilometres of the Pilbara region.

It's a major regional centre known for its mining industry and outback lifestyle. Medical facilities in Port Hedland include general practices and a local hospital which has approximately 100 beds and provides emergency, acute, maternity, surgical, and specialist services for the wider region.

• Bill AUD$2,000-AUD$3,000 a day
• Visa sponsorship
• Income gurantee of $150 p/hr 
• Percentage of billings from 60%-70% qualification depemdent
