About the role
Make an impact through harm reduction and community care
Join Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services as a Needle and Syringe Program Coordinator and help deliver a vital community-based service supporting harm reduction, education and access to health resources.
Your new role:
As the Needle and Syringe Program Coordinator, you will play an important role in coordinating and maintaining the local Needle and Syringe Program at Inala Community Health Centre. You will support the delivery of accessible, client-focused harm reduction services while working closely with health professionals, pharmacies, community organisations and other service providers.
You will also provide leadership to the administrative team, support quality and safety initiatives, maintain accurate program data and contribute to the ongoing development of processes and services.
About you:
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated professional who can confidently coordinate a community-based service, build positive relationships and work with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
You will bring strong administrative and communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to work autonomously while supporting a collaborative team environment.
A relevant qualification would also be highly regarded.
