Newsagency Store Manager Casuarina

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our busy Nextra Casuarina store.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume retail environment, serving 3,000–5,000 customers each week. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and owners to oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of 10+ staff and deliver outstanding customer service.

What we’re looking for:

·           Previous experience as a Store Manager or 2IC is essential.

·           Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate a team.

·           Proven ability to manage busy retail operations and provide exceptional customer experiences.

·           Familiarity with Possolutions newsagency software highly regarded but not essential.

·           A passion for driving sales growth through leading by example at the counter.

About the role:

·           38-45 hour week (but less considered for the right candidate), reporting directly to the General Manager.

·           Monday - Friday.

·           Maintaining a high standard of store presentation through excellent visual merchandising.

·           Liaising with our Purchasing Team to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store to maximise return on floor space.

·           Managing day-to-day operations including rostering and inventory.

·           Various other hands-on responsibilities across customer service, staff management and store operations.
