Handyperson/Office Furniture Installer/Delivery Driver

• Office Furniture Installer in and around Brisbane CBD
• Drivers Licence essential with clean driving history
• Availability Monday to Friday, 6am start for 8-10hr day (occasional weekend work available)
• Casual position 20-45 hours per week, leading to Full-time work.

The Position

As one of our installers, you will be responsible for the installation/assembly and placement of furniture for commercial office fit outs as per install instructions and floor plans. At times, you may also be required to assist with the pick-up and delivery of the furniture which will require you to load and unload one of our trucks/vans.

Lead installer positions (responsible for managing a small team), and installer positions available.

To be considered for this position, you will need

• An Open Drivers Licence with a clean driving history and confidence in driving a small truck/van
• A construction Industry Blue/White Card - must have before commencing
• Access to reliable transport to and from work – job sites are usually in and around the city but not always near public transport, so your own transport is essential
• Experience in the safe use of power tools i.e drills, power saw, grinder etc (all tools required will be supplied)
• Physical fitness and strength as some heavy lifting is required
• The ability to read and follow floor plans and installation instructions
• A happy and friendly personality for working with clients and in a team environment
• Lead Installers must have the ability to work and manage a small team to ensure jobs are completed on-time and objectives achieved

This position would suit a carpenter, handyman, cabinet maker, labourer or anyone who is confident in leading a small team with the required skills and licences listed above.

Pay: $31.00 – $40.00 per hour
