Experience Mechanic for heavy vehicle/Auto Electrician/Refrigeration Technician

We are looking for a skilled/experienced Auto Mechanic/ Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Auto Electrician / Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles. You will be responsible for trouble shooting, repair and maintains our fleets customers equipment. Wide range of cars, Ute, van to light trucks. 

Qualified Mechanic with experience in A/C and refrigeration.

Must have electrical knowledge and able to use modern technologies provided with a sound of understanding how electronic works.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

• Inspect vehicle fault codes and translate to repair solutions. 

• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity

• Carry out manufacture log book service.

• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues.

• Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

• Keep logs on work and issues

• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Requirements and skills

• Strong mechanical experience with proven diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.

• Sound electrical knowledge and the ability to use modern diagnostic equipment, with a solid understanding of electronic systems.

• Experience in automotive air conditioning and transport refrigeration is essential, as a large portion of our work involves A/C and refrigeration systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A commitment to producing high-quality workmanship and maintaining excellent customer service.
