This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional accounting and become a trusted advisor to leaders across a complex operational environment.About the RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activitiesProviding commercial insights and analysis to support strategic and operational decisionsDeveloping financial models and performance reporting toolsMonitoring financial performance, identifying trends and recommending improvement opportunitiesSupporting month-end, half-year and year-end reporting requirementsContributing to audit activities, analyst reporting and governance requirementsPartnering with operational stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting
About YouTo be successful, you will bring:CA, CPA or CMA qualificationA degree in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineSignificant experience in financial planning, analysis and business partneringStrong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capabilityAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsThe ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insightsExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsMust be based in Rockhampton
