You must be an Australian citizen due to Defence Security clearance requirements.

About the Role
As the storeperson you will play an important role supporting Defence maintenance operations by ensuring parts, tools and equipment are accurately received, managed and distributed to maintenance teams. Key responsibilities include –

• Receipting and issuing parts and materials
• Loading, unloading and operating a forklift
• Manage goods returned
• Processing delivery documentation
• Conducting stocktakes and stock management activities
• Maintaining storage locations and inventory records
• Supporting general warehouse and stores operations
• Ensuring parts are allocated correctly to maintenance work orders

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous stores, warehouse or inventory experience
• Current forklift licence (LF)
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in SAP S4 Hana is highly regarded
