lyf Bondi Junction is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join as a Sous Chef. This full-time role will report to the Head Chef

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.

• Supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high food quality standards.

• Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising food waste.

• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Supporting staff training, development, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior kitchen position within a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and support a kitchen team.

• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
