About the role
Join Our Growing Fleet in Sydney
Norman Carriers (Aust) Pty Ltd is expanding in Revesby, NSW, and we are searching for a highly experienced and safety-focused Multi Combination (MC) Truck Driver to join our professional Sydney team.
This is a full-time permanent position with top-tier equipment and excellent conditions. You will be allocated a modern prime mover - we take pride in maintaining modern, high-spec equipment for drivers who take pride in their work.
We specialise in port logistics, custom freight, and local distribution, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating an A Double Multi-Combination heavy vehicle across Sydney metro, regional and port locations
Ensuring compliance with Mass Management, Load Restraint, and HVNL obligations
Transporting OOG (out-of-gauge) and general freight using a variety of trailers (skel, sideloader, tautliner)
Conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining accurate runsheets and logbooks
Liaising professionally with port staff, customers, and operations team
Maintaining your vehicle’s cleanliness, condition, and documentation
What You Must Have
Minimum 5 years’ HC truck driving experience, with at least 2 years recent experience operating an A Double
Valid NSW MC Licence
MSIC with current unrestricted port access (Botany, Port Kembla, etc.)
Sideloader experience (Hammar)
Mass Management and Load Restraint competency
Strong understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and driver responsibilities
Excellent communication, punctuality, and customer service
Highly Regarded:
Bulk Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence
Forklift Licence (LF)
Proven experience in handling oversize, high-value, or CFS freight
