Excellent opportunities now exist for Full-Time or Part-Time Yard Officer to join our team, located in Hendra, Brisbane. We are looking for team members who like to stay active to keep you moving all shift long.

THE ROLE, RATES AND ROSTERS

As a Yard Officer, you will be responsible for reverse-parking customer vehicles safely into designated areas, and making sure they are out in a timely manner ready for customers return. The role requires brisk walking and careful, low-speed driving. It’s a physical role involving team work —think life-size tetris as you position cars into their spaces.

This role is perfect for someone who likes to keep moving, enjoys being outdoors, and loves working in a fast-paced environment.

 In terms of rates and rostering:

• Both full-time and part-time positions are available, however our preference is full-time

• We run a rotating roster of AM and PM shifts across all 7 days, planned in advance so you can plan your social life

• Weekday base rate is $26.73/hr, rising to $27.58/hr after 6 months. Higher rates apply from 7:00PM – 7:00AM.

• Weekend base rate is $40.10/hr, rising to $41.37/hr after 6 months.

• Public holiday higher rates apply.

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE

• Full driver’s license

• Excellent driving skills

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles

• Reliable and honest

• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Enjoys continuously being on the move

• Availability on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays

• Current Police Check (or willingness to get one after interview)

• Driver Accreditation (or willingness to get one soon after employment)
