About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Readiness & Compliance Lead to support the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for driving project readiness, compliance, approvals, governance, and risk management activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with business requirements and regulatory obligations.

Working closely with project teams and functional stakeholders, you will play a key role in integrating compliance requirements into project delivery plans while maintaining oversight of risks, schedules, and readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate approvals, land access, tenure, and compliance requirements into project schedules
• Drive project readiness activities in line with governance and delivery frameworks
• Coordinate interfacing workstreams and support schedule recovery initiatives where required
• Manage compliance budgets, forecasts, resource planning, and cost commitments
• Review regulatory pathways, approvals strategies, and compliance obligations
• Coordinate project information requirements across functional teams
• Ensure compliance requirements are embedded into project plans and work packages
• Identify, assess, and manage readiness and compliance risks
• Maintain strong governance, reporting, and compliance management processes
• Provide project leadership with visibility of readiness status, risks, and performance

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Environment, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within mining, infrastructure, or major project environments
• Strong experience in project management, risk management, approvals, and compliance activities
• Experience supporting project delivery within complex regulatory environments
• Strong understanding of project controls, governance, compliance, and risk frameworks
• Experience using enterprise compliance management systems
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, energy, mining, or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of approvals, tenure, land access, and regulatory obligations
• Experience developing readiness strategies and governance processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in complex project environments
