Assistant Manager – Cafe Margaret 

Cafe Margaret, located in Double Bay alongside its sister restaurant Margaret, is a lively neighbourhood bistro that features a rolling menu from lunch into dinner. Built on quality seasonal produce and genuine hospitality, we’re looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.

About the Role

Support daily operations across both lunch and dinner services, lead and motivate the front of house team and ensure a high standard of service, presentation and guest experience in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the restaurant operations

• Lead and support the FOH team

• Maintain service and cleanliness standards

• Manage stock, ordering and cost control

• Handle customer feedback professionally

• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and floor

About You

• Previous hospitality management experience in a busy venue

• Strong leadership and organisational skills

• Passion for food, beverage and guest experience

• Flexible availability
