Day Shift Allocator and Compliance Officer

Location: Swanbank QLD

Role Type: Full Time

We are a small, family-owned and operated business that is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for our next team member. This role will be based at our Swanbank Depot and ensure safe, efficient and on time scheduling of deliveries whilst maintaining compliance with laws, regulations and accreditations.

About the Role

• Allocation of deliveries for Powder Tankers and General Freight

• Communication with customers and drivers to organise backloads

• Monitor driver fatigue in accordance with Company and legislative requirements

• Monitor fleet movements throughout the day and adjust for any changes

• Maintain Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance

• Checking driver timesheets, logbooks and dockets for all loads are complete

• Monitor driver performance

• Assist with communicating maintenance requirements with the workshop manager

• Complete operational paperwork and data entry accurately

• Deliver exceptional customer service

About You

•  2 years minimum experience in transport allocation

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage your own workday and ensure tasks are completed on time with little supervision

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and other team members

• Experience using online rostering, EWD and maintenance system

• Experience using Microsoft Suite
