Production Coordinator

Riviana Foods, part of the SunRice Group, is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join our Heidelberg site and play a key role in delivering the food products Australians know and love.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and making a real impact on site performance.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead a team of around 20 employees and be responsible for ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll:

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing production team

• Champion a positive safety culture where everyone goes home safely

• Drive production performance, efficiency and customer service outcomes

• Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics including OEE and DIFOT

• Manage labour resources and operational costs

• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions

• Support quality, GMP and food safety requirements

• Work closely with Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain and Quality teams

• Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities across the site

What We're Looking For

You're a proactive manufacturing leader who enjoys getting the best out of people and finding smarter ways of working.

You'll bring:

• 5+ years' experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment

• Proven experience leading production teams

• Strong safety leadership and people management skills

• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives

• The ability to influence, coach and engage teams

• SAP and Microsoft Office experience

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

Dairy manufacturing experience will be highly regarded

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked within dairy manufacturing and understand the unique challenges of high-care food production, quality requirements and fast-moving production environments.

Also advantageous:

• Experience in chilled or frozen food manufacturing

• Manufacturing or Engineering qualifications

• Project management experience

• Experience managing multiple shifts
