The assignment
Rarely do you have the opportunity arise that allow you to utilise your foundational years of solutions architecture experience, in businesses that are firmly in growth and 'sunrise' mode. They are capitalising on strong business growth (organic and inorganic via acquisitions), profitability and opportunity ahead.
This point in time is a pivotal one for the organisation as they uplift architecture capabilities, linked to a new strategic roadmap for technology across the enterprise.
We are keen to speak with savvy Solutions Architects that think like an Enterprise Architect.
Must have:Solutions Architecture experience. Of course. And plenty of it. Any Enterprise Architecture experience would also be beneficial. This will be a 'hands-on' assignment so we are looking for a min of 5 years of relevant experienceIndustry knowledge. Strong preference for financial services industry knowledge and we are particularly keen to speak to practitioners with insurance industry sector knowledgePersonal attributes. Superior communication & interpersonal skills. Must have very strong EQ, and will be able to cite examples of influencing senior stakeholders and adapting style to different audiencesCommercial & entrepreneurial smarts. This is not a role sitting buried in a hierarchical IT shop. We want a progressive thinker and doer, with a strong sense of commercial realities and business impact. Someone who can provide architectural leadership and has the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and influence architecture decisions
