Geriatric Care Australia (GCA) is a mission-driven organisation that provides community specialist healthcare for older Australians. Despite being a small organisation, we are proud to have grown to provide geriatrician and GP services across Australia!
The Care Coordinator role is an important medical administration role within GCA which ensures care is delivered at the right place at the right time. Qualifications and experience include:Willingness to work in a healthcare environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Ability to communicate with and relate to people from all walks of life.Highly organised and demonstrated customer service skills.Adaptable and proactive with an ability to work under pressure.
Day to day looks like:Coordinating patient appointments, recalls and clinician schedulesSupporting patients, families and carers throughout their care journeyLiaising regularly with doctors, facilities and other healthcare stakeholdersManaging patient documentation, correspondence and practice management recordsSupporting Medicare billing and account processes
