CiteCon is a locally owned commercial construction company backed by over 50 years of building heritage in North Queensland.

Based in Mackay, we deliver high-quality commercial and industrial projects across Mackay, Townsville, Rockhampton, the Bowen Basin and the Whitsundays.

With a strong secured pipeline of work and continued regional growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering commercial construction projects from award through to completion.

The role involves managing projects typically valued between $5M-$30M.

You will be responsible for:

• Overall project performance (time, cost, quality and safety)

• Client and stakeholder management

• Financial management and forecasting

• Contract administration oversight

• Subcontractor engagement and performance

• Program management and risk mitigation

• Leading internal project teams

This role offers genuine autonomy, strong support from senior leadership, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing regional construction business.

You will bring:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Construction Project Manager

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or similar

• Strong commercial construction background (industrial, transport, workshops, community facilities, accommodation, health, retail, mining infrastructure or education projects)

• Demonstrated track record delivering projects safely, on time and on budget

• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and subcontractor management

• Financial control and reporting experience

Experience with the below systems:

• Either Jonas Premier, Jobpac, Procore, Coins

• Microsoft Projects

• Estimating software packages

You will also possess exceptional communication skills, strong leadership capability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
