Plant Team Leader - Concrete

At Concrite, we're looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to lead our Canberra Mini Mix Fyshwick concrete operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values safety, and wants to make a real impact on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the ACT region. 

As the leader of our plant team, you'll oversee daily operations, coordinate people and resources, champion a strong safety culture, and ensure our customers continue to receive the high-quality service Concrite is known for. 

What You'll Be Doing 

• Leading, supporting and coordinating a team of agitator drivers and plant employees 
• Managing the supply of raw materials including cement, aggregates, sand and admixtures 
• Driving a positive safety culture through pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and incident reporting 
• Overseeing plant maintenance, housekeeping and operational performance 
• Building strong relationships with customers, dispatch, drivers and internal stakeholders 
• Managing plant costs, raising purchase orders and supporting operational efficiency 

What You'll Bring 

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing, construction, logistics or similar operational environment 
• Strong communication and team leadership skills 
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement 
• Front End Loader and/or Forklift licences will be highly regarded
