We’re looking for a Field Service Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our Sunshine West team, providing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support to our customers across Melbourne.

About the Role

Based from our Sunshine West branch, you’ll be working directly with customers across Melbourne, carrying out scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown support on heavy vehicles.

This is an opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety, independence and solving problems in the field while being supported by an experienced team behind them.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative maintenance and servicing of heavy vehicles
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Repairs to trucks, trailers and buses
• Attending roadside and customer-site breakdowns
• Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
• Delivering outstanding customer service on-site
• Working safely and professionally at all times

About You

• Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, accountable and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Current driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous)
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a growing team
