I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Application Developer (.NET) to join a major government digital transformation program. This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical enterprise applications and contribute to the modernisation of systems that support essential public services.
📍 Location: QLD, VIC, or NSW (Hybrid) 📅 Start Date: September 2026 📄 Contract: Initial 12 months with multiple extension options ⏰ Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities🔹 Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise .NET applications 🔹 Redevelop and maintain Microsoft Word macro and non-macro templates 🔹 Support web-based applications, reporting solutions, and system enhancements 🔹 Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions 🔹 Participate in Agile delivery using JIRA, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies 🔹 Assist with planning, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing application support 🔹 Contribute innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, and user experience while ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements
Essential Skills & Experience✅ Strong experience developing and supporting .NET applications ✅ Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA (ServiceNow experience is advantageous) ✅ Experience delivering solutions in government or other complex enterprise environments ✅ Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality outcomes ✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable✔ Current Australian Government Security Clearance ✔ Agile or technology-related certifications
