About the Role

This role involves travelling to a variety of client sites across the Mackay region, ensuring electrical equipment is tested, tagged and compliant with Australian Standards.

You'll primarily be working in:

• Schools

• Warehouses

• Healthcare facilities

• Commercial businesses

No two days are the same, so you'll enjoy variety, independence and plenty of customer interaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Carry out Test & Tag inspections on electrical equipment.

• Accurately record testing results using Test & Tag equipment and computer-based software.

• Deliver excellent customer service while building positive relationships with clients.

• Work independently while managing your daily schedule.

• Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail.

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Full training is provided, however you'll need to be eager to learn, adaptable and able to think on your feet.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in your work and is happy working both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications: (but not a deal breaker!):

• A Test & Tag Certificate or Restricted Electrical Licence (or be willing to obtain one)

• White Card

• Blue Card

• Willingness to complete a National Police Check

You'll ideally have:

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• A current Australian Driver Licence
