About the Opportunity

Securecorp is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader – Control Room Operations to join our team at our Broadmeadows site.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this leadership role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of a team of approximately 20 Control Room Operators. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of security, compliance, customer service, and operational performance while leading by example in a fast-paced environment.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for candidates with proven leadership experience in a security control room environment who can confidently lead teams, make operational decisions, and maintain strong client relationships.

Roster: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days & Nights)

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support the Site Supervisor in leading and mentoring a team of approximately 20 Control Room Operators.
• Ensure compliance with all client procedures, site SOPs, and company policies through regular auditing and reporting.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships, responding promptly and professionally to operational issues.
• Assist with recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and identifying training and development needs for security personnel.
• Coordinate the delivery of security services to the site, ensuring the safety of staff, contractors, visitors, and assets.
• Oversee control room operations and maintain an effective security presence while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Perform administrative duties including database management, reporting, record keeping, and maintaining operational documentation.
• Coordinate staff rosters, training schedules, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role within a security control room environment.
• Extensive Control Room Operator experience with a current Security License & Control Room endorsement (essential).
• Hep B & Influenza Shot (Current) 
• Experience using one or more of the following systems:
  • Gallagher
  • Avigilon
  • Genetec
  • Ascom
  • PassagePoint
• Experience monitoring fire panels and responding to alarms.
• Strong administrative, computer and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional email etiquette.
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to lead a team in a fast-paced operational environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and ASIC clearance.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
