Shipping Container Sales Consultant

About the role

This is an office-based sales role focused on managing customer enquiries, preparing quotes and converting opportunities into sales. Your day-to-day will include selling and hiring new and used shipping containers, managing inbound phone and online enquiries, preparing quotes and following up sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and new customers, managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery, coordinating with transport, depot and operations teams, maintaining accurate CRM records and sales follow-up, and working towards individual and team sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Selling and hiring new and used shipping containers

• Managing inbound phone and online enquiries

• Preparing quotes and following up sales opportunities

• Building strong relationships with existing and new customers

• Managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to delivery

• Coordinating with transport, depot and operations teams

• Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales follow-up

• Working towards individual and team sales targets

About you

• Strong previous sales experience

• A confident and customer-focused approach

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• The ability to build genuine long-term customer relationships

• Strong organisational and follow-up skills

• A results-driven attitude and willingness to pick up the phone

• Good computer skills and ability to work across CRM and quoting systems

• Experience in shipping containers, transport, logistics, hire, construction or industrial sales would be highly regarded, but isn't essential

• $70,000 base salary + commission
