As our Senior Procurement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice, fostering collaboration, and ensuring compliance with legislative and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-level procurement advice and support to management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and governance requirements while driving continuous improvement in procurement practices and outcomes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate strategic procurement planning, contract management and governance
outcomes.
Coordinate, allocate and prioritise work across the team, providing guidance, mentoring and technical support to staff while ensuring service standards and deadlines are met.
Undertake research into complex procurement issues, providing sound advice, clear analysis and accurate reporting to support decision-making and implementation.
Contribute to the development of procurement capability across the organisation by coaching, sharing knowledge and promoting best-practice procurement and contract management principles.
Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:
Level 3 Queensland Government Procurement Certification (Diploma in Government - Procurement and Contracting)
Knowledge and experience in applying procurement-related policies, procedures or frameworks preferably in a government or public sector environment.
Experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
